I had a chance to go into Boston in September and take some street photography. It was a lot of fun.
I just love photographing random people in the public. If you do it right and their guard is down, you can capture who they really are.

On Sunday, I took my daughter to see Landon Austin at the Middle East in Cambridge. For those of you who do not know, Landon is a YouTube sensation who is followed by countless young girls. (Well mostly girls) I was luck enough to capture him as well as his many opening acts. The acts included Skyler, Ryan LaPerle, Maria Earabino, Breathing Hope, Mary Ferreira, and Khoury Sisters. I have been busy with work and other duties, I have not been able to post. I have the first few artist edited and here are those images.

I went into Boston the day after the marathon. Not to capture any of the carnage from the previous day, to capture the spirit of the city of Boston. I had a very good friend and some family who thought I was a little crazy doing this. But if I stayed home and did nothing, the terrorists would have had another check mark off in there win column.

I cannot begin to explain why being creative is just an important part of my life. I am "handcuffed" in my cubicle all day at work, being very analytical using pricing formula and other forms of math. There is not much room for creativity. Do not get me wrong, I really enjoy my job, I like most of my customers and the people I work with. I just need to express myself in different ways.
